Something about Speed Reading

Numerous research showed that there has been a positive relation between speed-reading and understanding the context. Those with a faster reading speed can better understand the theme of the material than the other. This will come in handy if your career is related with reading materials.
Reader must also know the purpose of the reading so that he can skim the material and look for his desired information and it also helps the reader to concentrate on specific section of the material. Reader won’t need to read every word of the material as it consumes more time and the reader might lose concentration. Dividing the sentence into shorter fragment is also crucial.
Having a good knowledge on vocabulary is really important in speed-reading. Lots of readers stuck in the middle of reading because they lack on vocabulary. Reader has to practice reading everyday. as it’s a continuous process. You will increase your reading speed with more practice.
Choosing the right time is also important as experts suggest early morning to be the best time for speed-reading although some people might be find themselves comfortable at night. So it varies from one to another.
Normal readers without speed-reading skills can not fully utilized his reading capacity. We all have a much faster reading ability. But because the lack of proper knowledge and practice we are unable to use that.
