Last two years, numerous gun violence occurs in educational institution. In States, at least there was 9 school shooting incident happenned back then in 2008 with 16 death toll. Outside the States, 3 school shooting incidents also occured in 2008. Up until now in 2009, 3 school shooting incident occured in States with the other 3 in Europe with the sum of 21 death toll. There were also other 21 school related incidents in 2008 and 21 school related incidents happened in 2009.

The irony is that most of the people involved in the incidents are people from the same school.

Aside from such incidents, there are also numerous threats that could endanger the students and the staffs such as kidnapping, vandalism, assaults and more.

It is important that, to prevent such risks from happening, risk-reduction measures should be taken, along with a good comprehensive safety plans. We do know that the cost could be a concern but then, if there are any unwanted things happening, there would be more losses than the sum we were concerned with before.
