A Loyal Employee Is Worth His or Her Weight in Gold

By Philip | November 21, 2008

Most people are hiding their true motives behind a mask of compliance and amiability. You never know where their true allegiance lies until they are tested. Some are only using you for the money you can pay them, and slack off behind your back. Some are jealous of you but try it hide it. Yet they steal for you and plot your downfall behind your back.

Others are true-blue loyalists as Bill Zanker, the owner of the Learning Annex who will do everything they can to help you succeed. It will take months are even years to know who is who. Their actions will eventually betray them. Don’t hesitate to immediately get rid of the slackers and the plotters. When you learn from experience that someone is really and truly working solidly for your benefit, cherish them and reward them. For they are a rarity that should be treasured. People like this don’t come around very often.

If you can assemble, over time, a whole group of loyal hardworking people who will do anything for you you will be able to accomplish almost anything you want in your business.

Bill Zanker, Founder and CEO of The Learning Annex said, “I try to hire people who are honest and loyal. I value loyalty very much. The other kinds of people don’t last very long at The Learning Annex. They end up being fired or quitting. I’ve been very fortunate to have some of the most dedicated employees a man could ever have. We have accomplished great things at the Learning Annex because of them. We put on amazing expos where over 60,000 people attended, and did this over and over again for several years, when experts told us we could never get more than 2-3 thousand people to attend. All because of a group of positive thing, staff that believes they can do anything.”

So always reward and promote the loyal people who are on your side and put your interests above everything else, and you’ll succeed mightily
